Printing guide
How to print these coloring pages
The file you want is the PDF. A screenshot of the web page prints the menu, the ads, and a blurry drawing. The PDF is just the picture, with room for the paper margins.
1. Open the set
Start on a collection page if you want several pictures. Open one drawing if your child already picked a favorite.
2. Download the PDF
Choose US Letter for a standard American home printer, 8.5 by 11 inches. Choose A4 if the paper pack says A4.
3. Print at actual size
In the print dialog, choose actual size or 100%. If the printer warns that the page does not fit, switch to fit-to-page. Do not print the browser window.
4. Color
Crayons and colored pencils stay inside the lines on ordinary copy paper. Markers look brighter and bleed more; cardstock helps if you use them.
Letter or A4
Most kitchens in the United States have US Letter paper. A4 is slightly taller and a little narrower. Each drawing is saved twice so the same picture sits properly on either sheet. If you are not sure, letter is the right first try on a printer bought in the US.
In a classroom
Teachers and caregivers can print a class set for free. Print the PDF once and copy it, or print the copies straight from the file. Please don't upload the PDF to a shop or sell the printed pages.
If the lines look faint
Choose black-and-white or the printer's "text" setting if a draft mode washes the lines out. The drawing is black ink on white, so color printing is not required.
